...and waiting on the post-1.23.0 branch, some or all of which will be
merged to master before the final 1.23.0 tag:

 28 files changed, 8131 insertions(+), 250 deletions(-)

(Russian and Spanish localizations are the bulk of that.)

So, yeah, hard to argue.
